Extension and refurbishment (Penoyre & Prasad, 2012).

Ruskin is an independent residential college providing further and higher education courses for adults. The new building enabled the college to consolidate its activities on one site, refurbishing the listed Rookery Building and adding a further 2000 m2 of floor space, including the Callaghan Library. An elegant, minimalist building, this white box with simple window openings appears to float in the old gardens of the original hall.
