Information Engineering Building

University of Oxford

A new building for the Department of Engineering Science to house robotics, process and information engineering research labs (RMJM, 2004)

Seemingly designed to make a visual link with the older Thom Building on the prominent Keble Triangle site, north of Keble College, this area is home to a group of buildings for engineering science, physics and computing. While few have a good work to say about the architectural qualities of these buildings, this example can be considered a distinguished piece of contemporary architecture.

Awards: OPT Award 2005
